Jeanette Horn holds an MFA from the Iowa Writers' Workshop, where she received a Maytag Fellowship, a Teaching/Writing Fellowship, and was named a finalist for Poetry’s Ruth Lilly Poetry Fellowship.

Play, With Knives is Jeanette’s first novel, and her poetry has appeared in MARGIE, Poetry International, Stand, Washington Square, and other journals. She lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband and dogs.
